to attend. (F.,—L.) Sir. T. Wyat has it in his 'Complaint of
the Absence of his Love' (R.)—O.F. acompaignier, to associate with.—F.
a = Lat. ad; and O.F. compaignier, compaigner, cumpagner,
to associate with.—O.F. compaignie, cumpanie, association,
company. See Company.
