3. 360.—Lat. ocularis, adj., formed from oculus, the eye, a
dimin. of ocus*, the eye, a form not used, but cognate with E. eye;
see Eye.
Der. ocular-ly, bin-ocular, in-oculate; also ocul-ist, from Lat. oculus.
