AINSLEY, AINSLIE, ANNESLEY, AYNSLEY.  Bardsley has:  A local name meaning "of Annesley," a parish in co. Notts, near Nottingham.  But there is probably a north English local origin also.   There is also Ansley, a parish in co. Warwick. 

Arthur has:  ANNESLEY.  Local.  From a town in Notthinghamshire, England, and named, perhaps, from Anclo, a city in Norway, by the free-booters or conquerors of Briton.  Annansley, the lea, lying on the Annon.
