SALISBURY or SARISBURY
(Saxon) A city and capital of Wiltshire, England. The town of
health; the dry town. The old town of Salisbury anciently stood upon a
hill where there was no water, but it is now situated in a valley, and a little
brook runs through the streets. The name was sometimes written Salusbury,
that is, the healthy hill or town.
